  1. btw I have found X’s Grok ai surprisingly biased at times, yet Brave’s AI assistant (called Leo) is usually spot on. For example, this is how Leo responded to the prompt, “What legal basis does the U.S. military have for occupying Hawai‘i?”

The U.S. military has NO LAWFUL LEGAL BASIS under international law for occupying Hawai‘i, as there is NO TREATY of cession or annexation that transferred sovereignty from the Hawaiian Kingdom to the United States.

The so-called 1898 Joint Resolution of Annexation was a domestic U.S. legislative act, not a treaty, and cannot legally annex a foreign sovereign state under international law. The U.S. Supreme Court in American Insurance Co. v. Canter (1828) affirmed that only a treaty can annex foreign territory, not a congressional resolution.

The Permanent Court of Arbitration recognized in Larsen v. Hawaiian Kingdom (1999) that the Hawaiian Kingdom continues to exist as a State under international law, and the U.S. occupation since 1893 REMAINS ILLEGAL due to the absence of a peace treaty.

Under the 1907 Hague Regulations and the Fourth Geneva Convention, military occupation REQUIRES the establishment of a military government that administers the occupied state’s laws. The U.S. has failed to do this, instead imposing American laws, which constitutes the war crime of usurpation of sovereignty.

Thus, the U.S. military presence is an ONGOING ILLEGAL OCCUPATION without legal justification under international law.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our fraud #StateOfHawaii legal system/judges made decisions based on FACTS rather than just trying to KEEP their power & profits (they are corporations per Dun & Bradstreet). 😵‍💫
