  1. As a non Native (Capital “N”) Hawaiian – same old U.S. OHA stinking rubbish to ingratiate itself, as a arm of the Fake State of Hawai’i, upon the Independence Festlivities…am I invited anymore? So, what has been a celebration and statement upon the continued history of the Kingdom of Hawai’i is now sponsored by Federal Recognition Indian OHA. Like Guy Fawkes in WWII sponsored by the German Nationalist Party. Too, just like the “failed” attempt at Thomas Square to have Native American Tribe Pow-Wow presence wheedled into Hawaiian celebrations to blur the distinctions. I will be there for the Celebration in O’ahu but with a little more skepticism as to who’s running the show…aloha ino!…and “improve the lives of the Native Hawaiian community….how about fireworks for the Celebration!….big and loud and flashy to let the complacent know that Ua Mau Ke Ae….really is a cause for celebration for an Independent occupied Nation!

    • Aue no ho’i e!….it should have been EA not AE sorry dyslexia in Hawaiian I remember I had difficulty with Kahili and Kalihi Ha! so apologies there!

    • I respect your point of view, but I think you have it a bit twisted. The event is not being held by OHA, it is being held as an informative celebration by the Royal Order of Kamehameha I, Moku O Kohala, with support from Oha and the Kailapa Community Association. This has nothing to do with Oha directing any of the content of our presentation, but everything to do with supporting the event with a monetary contribution. We at Moku O Kohala like to host events for the community at large, Hawaiians and non-Hawaiians alike, so that the truth of important events can be made known. In doing this we fulfill part of our responsibility to the community in which we live and serve.
      Mahalo
Ski Kwiatkowski, event Co-chairman, Moku O Kohala

    • RIGHT ARM PIT, pololei christopher…i say boycott EVERYTHING THAT HAS OHA even if it means that Keanu or Hawaiian Kingdom has flipped? OR if they are still with the Hawaiian Nationals not fed-wrecked..

  2. Kauai will be having its first annual Lā Kū‘oko‘a paniolo rodeo this year. Planned to travel from moku to moku on Kaua‘i each year. Chee-hu!

      • fed-wreckians dannerhola and kualii council villager ppls who have sucked up funding from her to play the akaka tribe game agenda…boycott make our own celebration OUR way not the status quo.

    • Eo Kauai! Mai ka moku o Hawaii a i Kauai!!! Are there not any Aloha Aina on any other islands. Have you all been so severely brainwashed and indoctrinated that you all only love America! What about your proud Hawaiian Heritage has it been so long as you don’t know right from left. Calling all Aloha Aina on Oahu, Molokai, Maui, Lanai, Kahoolawe are you all a sleep. Rise up and celebrate one of the greatest achievements of Hawaiian History! Post up your flier and event for all to see. Do you not have a computer or the internet, our kupuna would surely utilize these tools to wake up the Zombie like Hawaiians to perpetuate the second oldest National Holiday of the Kingdom of Hawaii and the first joint Treaty in hawaiian History!

      • To judge the kanaka people in that way, after 121 yrs of oppression is not pono. Why all of a sudden we have people pushing for this and pushing for that? And no one is using the old aloha spirit that our kupuna taught us. No gotta go around and say the Hawaiian people are zombies, eh Kaman, 121 YEARS OF OPPRESSION. And still nomo the aloha spirit, the people now use the aloha spirit for make money aole. We are who we were and no one can change the fact, we no need do show nobody that we exist, because its a fact that we are here, and our celebration for independence is gonna be celebrated and the knowledge passed down to our keiki. Wheres the love, I have nothing against legitimate celebrations but to gather people for an unseen purpose, that is stated in your flyer, ITS AN AOLE FOR NATION BUILDING WHEN WE HAVE THE NATION HERE ALREADY! aloha malama pono

        • E kala mai, but u should use another pen name because you are bringing disgrace to the meaning of those two words. Mana’ole or naaupo would be more befitting for someone of your derelict. O ka makapo wale no ka mea hapapa i ka pouli. Its obvious that you’ve never spent enough time reading Hawaiian Language newspapers from the nineteenth century about La Kuokoa or anything for that matter. Too bad for you and the knowledge you speak of and poor thing for those keiki also. Allow me to shed some light on your walk to the truth. My passage above is more of a cultural practice then what you speak of aloha spirit. Aloha spirit is made up to monetize the hawaiian culture by by the tourism industry, there are no references to this word in Hawaiian Language newspapers which makes you more colonized than you think. Publicly challenging all patriots from other islands occurred more in these newspapers than the made up Aloha spirit that you speak of. Metaphorically using the words a sleep and zombies should be insulting to those that have half a brain who are Aloha Aina. Similar to get off your asses and do something. I know you have no idea of La Kuokoa celebrations during the 19th century because if you did you would have created one on your own. I would tell you to read my thesis but you probably wouldn’t be able too, because all its sources come from Hawaiian Language newspapers and its written in Hawaiian researching everything about the National symbols of the Kingdom of Hawaii. One thing I am grateful that you showed me is the challenge ahead of me to re-connect Hawaiians to their history prior to the banning of Hawaiian Language. No ill intentions intended merely educating the masses about common cultural practices from the 19th century. Aloha Aina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Just because you studied Hawaiian history doesn’t make you Hawaiian, any tom, dick and harry can learn it but being a true Hawaiian is in the blood and in the spirit all your words are full of air and what you seek cannot be bought. I don’t need your ejamacation for know what is right and wrong. And that’s all I need, when you talk culture, what culture you talking about the new and improved aole. like I said this is my manao, I have one and so do you. But if you don’t like my manao then that’s your problem. And no this name was with me for over 10 years so take your ho-ho-ho name and go play somewhere else.

          • Well……The last I read of ‘hawaiian’ history is that it is a part of AMERICAS rich history! OUR Kupuna VOTED to be a part of OUR GREAT AMERICA!!! WHO ARE THE FEW OF YOU?!? To change their vote???!!! It is AOLE MAIKAI to do that kind of HANA INO!!! Be grateful to the GREATEST COUNTRY in the world! The good old USA of whom Hawaii is one of her STAES!!! If you ALL are going to fly any flag on November 28th….. It BETTER BE the Only flag we should be flying….THE! Stars & Stripes!!! Aloha Aina!!!

          • Well, obviously this is someone’s idea of irony, or a the worst, a sick joke and an insult to the memory of our Ku’e kupuna and the valiant work done by the Queen, too, all the Kaulana Na Pua, as it were. Stars and Stripes 4 Eva, if true to the comment, doesn’t understand freedom, self-determination, International Law, or the genius of the Hawaiian Kingdom at Her inception, where She stands today, and what She means to those who having continued the path of education. Hawaiian Patriots who struggle to step up to the plate and, to use a metaphor, slug the ball of Freedom out of the Ball Park!!! During the Second WW, there were those in Europe: France, Austria, Belgium, etc. that were collaborators for the Nazi’s; nationals of the occupied State that cooperated with the Occupier….the ole’ Stockholm Syndrome to put a current spin on it…these collaborators assisted the Nazi’s in rounding up and executing the resistance and anyone who helped them. The Resistance were the heroes and not the Collaborators. The time for ignorance whether it be innocent or self-willed is past. How about this S&S, “Give us Liberty or give us death”!

          • Aloha stars and stripes

i would gladly fly your flag but… i have a problem.

I can’t find a TREATY or a TITLE transfering our national lands to any one!!!… perhaps you can help me find it…. also

i have several kupuna that signed those KU’E petitions… you know the one, the 38,000 out of the 40,000 Hawaiian Kingdom Subjects who did not want to be part of the U S….some say thats why we can’t find a TREATY…

            its funny the other day
my moopuna comes home from kula… her classmate tells her that this is america and theres the flag?…

with NO TREATY, NO TITLE, NO WAR, NO TRANSFER OF LANDS, 2 EXECUTIVE AGREEMENTS, APOLOGY BY 2 U S PRESIDENTS and an U S APOLOGY LAW FOR THE ILLEGAL SIZURE.

How does a sovereign neutral Hawaiian Nation be come a fake state???

            stars…
perhaps you can help me fine the missing peice of the puzzle???

            If not…

amalika… is two thousand five hundred miles that way

america with all its rich history are their more fake states or is Hawaii the only fake state without a TREATY…

stars… let me know what you fine out

            enjoy our sovereign national holiday

            La Ku’oko’a

  3. I like the ‘idea’ very much, however, when I’ve seen that OHA is involved; I’m not too sure if I’m ‘down’. On the other hand, given the correct, proper and righteous backing; I’m definitely ‘down’.

  4. Education and “NATION BUILDING”. These guys don’t give up. If your going to participate DON’T SIGN ENEYTHING. Nice try oha.

      • OHA not doing this the Kupuna of Royal Order Moku o Kohala are they just using OHA monies to rent the facility and provide food for the participants, Don’t knock it down, if you don’t go just because the wording, Royal order can’t do anything but support the Kingdom of Hawaii!

        • So why does it say “NATION BUILDING”. The last time I seen that it was on a Kanaioluwalu banner. We all know what the response to that was.

          • Gotta start informing the people there even was a Kingdom to start with that my friend is building a national consciousness, which in their definition is nation building. Royal order of Kamehameha I supports the restoration of the Kingdom of Hawaii since it was founded in 1865, it is in their by laws.

        • Aloha a me Mahalo for the clarification. However, this renting and food providing must and I underline MUST be made perfectly clear; and as to what exactly OHA is and is not sponsoring because “This project is sponsored” and note it is not celebration or National Holiday that’s written on the flyer. To me the OHA is a bunch of wolves in sheep’s clothing…until such time OHA shows its true loyalties to the clearly stated Hawaiian Kingdom period I am not their friend. I do not wish them ill, but again, I do not consider myself their friend. Is the above too much to ask???

          • Nothing needs to made perfectly clear you have one page to advertise no can possible can make 121 years of occupation clear, get a grip, nit pick all you like u da one going be losing out. No one disagrees with all things u saying about OHA but if you are a true patriot u will celebrate LA KUOKOA whether that alone, with family or a circle island tour. I choose the united circle Island tour with my family flying the Kingdom of Hawaii National Flag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Hawaiian Independence Day!!!!!!!!

          • I apologize Hawaiian Santa if I sounded like I was nit picking. I do think it might have been just as easy to write on the flyer, “This Celebration is sponsored by the Office Of Hawaiian Affairs with contributions for rental space and refreshments; and to better the lives of the subjects of the Kingdom of Hawai’i”. And I’ll, of course, be at Thomas Square as well.

          • Yes Christopher S. good suggestion but not as easily done when working with a lot of hawaiians, some tiny battles are better left unchallenged

        • What has the Kupuna of the Royal Order Moku O
Kohala done for na kanaka? What has the Royal
Order of Kamehameha done for na kanaka? Not
putting them down, but was there anything
significant done over the past 121 years,
          then why now with OHA?

The loyalty of the Kupuna from the Royal Hawaiian band was clear when they refused to play for the
treasonous Sanford B. Dole, expressed in the song
Mele ai pohaku! They chose to eat rocks rather than
take money from Sanford B. Dole (OHA).

The difference is that some organizations accept
funding from OHA to further educate as to the
events that occurred in Hawaii’s history attempting
to make a connection from the past to the present,
          playing the middle ground.

The irony is the celebration its self that’s sponsored
by a subsidiary of the occupier! Don’t see that?
Under the current circumstances that should be a
day to be observed as opposed to celebrated!
          Celebrating sovereign independence while occupied?
Doesn’t really make any sense, eh, but to each its
own! Most will mix it up as a Thanks Giving Cruz.

  5. I would like to put a caveat on these people on using the “Hawaiian Kingdom still exist” moto to promote their crooked way of recruiting more on the kanaiolowalu agenda and to make the native Hawaiians into a indian tribe. Don’t fall for their tricks and treats, the money they have for all this crap is BS. may ke akua take out the opala and malama the aina

      • La Kuokoa is not a person or thing, as you try to make it for use to gather more signitures for nation building. Pilau tricks not going work anymore. La Kuokoa is a Hawaiian KIngdom National Holiday to celebrate our independence, all Hawaiian Kingdom Nationals may celebrate this holiday any way they want to, in remembrance of when the british empire returned the sovereignty of Hawaiian KIngdom. But to use it for a nation building tactic is pilau and our kupuna watching you. Why build a nation when it already exist? Why gather all the kanaka in one place? When we can celebrate with our friends and family at home. Is it because this is a tactic devised to mass the kanaka people, so you can brainwash them more, as the kanaka people are learning what the truth is all about? Aole just cuz you get money from the feds no mean you get the aloha or truth. aole malama pono a ke akua

        • Ae, pololei no oe noho oe ma ka hale hoolaulea me kou mau ohana a me na hoaaloha. Maikai kela!!!! SAI WOULD POST ON HIS WEBSITE AN EVENT THAT WOULD BRAINWASH MORE HAWAIIANS FROM LEARNING THE TRUE HISTORY, IF YOU DO YOU HAVEN’T LEARNED ANYTHING ON HIS SITE.

          • That’s exactly how the oppressors think and no we don’t think like that, and who said this is DR. SAI’s sight, this sight is for comments on anything and everything about the Kingdom of Hawaii. Because of the 121 YEARS of oppression, yah I no understand your olelo, but that’s only more proof of oppression, because my blood go back more than 1000 years in these islands. No get mad just my manao, just like you get yours, aloha malama pono

          • “Hoʻopaepae ia I Ka Aupuni pae Aina Hawaiʻi; Kākoʻo I kō mākou Ōʻiwi; Hoʻoulu ia I ka Lāhui”

  6. This is getting so old !!! First Kau Inoa, then the Hawaiian Roll then it was followed by Kanaiolowalu and now La Ku OKO ‘A.. OHA Trustees, nuff already, just go in the corner, lick your wounds and learn the lesson from all of your failed attempts at keeping the lahui under U.S. and defacto State of Hawaii control. You will NEVER be the voice of our people in a bs occupying government to government relationship

      • So you know everything about the history of Ko Hawaii Pae Aina? You wasn’t there. No need talk smack cause you no like somebody’s comment. When somebody says oha what is the first thing that comes to mind I guarantee its not the word Pono. Nobody is talking about the royal order. But when you see NATION BUILDING and OHA on the same page what you supposed to think. YOU NO NEED POST COMMENTS LIKE THAT.

        • Nobody said “OHA” its a logo placed on the flier at the bottom. U guys da one talking smack about whats on da flier, OHA & Royal Order on da flier, no dis da flier or one attempt to educate Hawaiians on dis day! These are kupuna Hawaii who organizing this event on Hawaiian Independence Day, what u guys doing ohh jack shit, thats much bettah fo da lahui. Waste your time spreading negativity elsewhere not at these Kupuna. You and everyone on this stream that spread negativity should apologize to the kupuna putting on event. How cum u guys no can praise! right on Hawaiians using OHA monies fo celebrate Hawaiian Independence day. Just like u I reacting to negativity and the widely misinformed. how cum cannot be we changing Kanaiolowalu followers to Independence.

          • How you know what I doing on that day you don’t know me this is only a blog. Who the one spreading negativity “IGNORANT HAWAIIANS” what’s up with that.

          • Of course I don’t know what you doing on La Kuokoa because you not brave enough or prepared early enough to share what you doing for La Kuokoa. I’m sorry but should I have used ignorant baffoons instead like our alii. Ignorant Hawaiians is a fact of life and continuing challenge for Hawaiian educators trying to unshackle the americanzed mentality. I hope you and every other Hawaiian does something on La Kuokoa!!!!!!!!!

  7. THE KINGDOM OF HAWAII DOES EXIST. If you (OHA) HONESTLY want to unite the lahui then YOU should sponsor and host rallies like this on each island.

  8. The Office of Hawaiian Affairs is two-faced. On one hand they’re making deals with Obama and the Department of Interior to push for Kana’iolowalu, nation building and federal recognition, making Hawaiians a tribe within the United States. On the other hand they’re sponsoring events such as the La Ku’oko’a with a flyer that states “The Hawaiian Kingdom Exists”.

OHA needs to decide whether its going to promote the agenda of the U.S Government and continue with their back door and end around lying ways like they’ve been doing with Obama and the Department of Interior or will they do right by the Hawaiian People and educate them about the Hawaiian Kingdom Still Existing and pushing for our independence as well as recognition by the world.

We should celebrate Hawaii’s Independence Day, November 28th and I think it’s a good idea to get our people together to bring attention to those who are not aware that November 28th is indeed our true Independence Day. The circle island convoy is a good event to raise awareness as we travel around the island with out flags so people can ask what the occasion is and we can educate them as we go. We should have this event happen on all the islands to bring awareness to Hawaii’s True Independence Day.

It’s just contradicting when you see OHA sponsoring events with beneficiary monies and utilizing statements like the one above, but at the same time they’re pushing for us to become part of the United States to protect approximately 150 scraps of so called entitlements when we are legally entitled to all of it.

    Just my Mana’o

    A Hui Hou

      • What you! doing for La Ku’oko’a? In fact I don’t want to know what someone like will be doing on La Ku’oko’a.

My Ohana celebrates La Ku’oko’a like Americans celebrate Thanks Giving every year. Only we make Laulau’s instead eating turkeys.

Instead of spreading all your negative so called Hawaiian Santa Cheer, cutting everyone down for their comments, why don’t you make you comment and just go away.

in fact I don’t even think you’re Kanaka, you sound like someone who got educated in Hawaiian History, learned to speak Hawaiian and now you think you’re better than those that are not as educated or can’t speak Hawaiian.

Like Dr. Sai Said, just because I no speak Hawaiian does that make me less of a Hawaiian.

Why don’t you go back to school and learn humility and humble yourself.

        • No worry what I doing, every year for the past 7 years I did something that has never been done in Hawaii for the past 121 years in educating more people about La Kuokoa on four different islands. If you can understand what you are reading, I’m responding to the negativity spread by all of you about a flier that was posted and trying to understand why so many of you are dogging an attempt by a Hawaiian organization trying to educate more people of Hawaiian Independence Day bottom line. How is that bad? Maybe the choice of OHA logo not so good and clearly comes with a lot of negative connotations by you all but, I don’t see any of you organizing a La Kuokoa education event nor do I see any of you with the foresight of applying for a grant 8 months ahead of time to even put on an event like this. For that alone u gotta mahalo these guys. How u educating others on La Kuokoa aside from eating laulau with only your family? What good does that do for the broader community. And, No lie u and your family eat turkey too! I neva see one Hawaiian Thanks giving that neva put one turkey in the imu with da pig and laulau. If I offended you that is because you posting negativity about the flier, that is wrong and if you did that you are wrong. You need to support Hawaiian organizations and people working to educate more Hawaiians and the community on their free time, not put their flier down. Any ways, they don’t teach you humility and humbleness in school, they teach you to investigate, do research with rigor.

Here’s my challenge to all you who posted negativity towards this flier, go to the event and be educated or organize your own event post your flier and educate others about La Kuokoa where you come from.

This would be a lot more productive for all of us,

Imua a Onipaa e na Aloha Aina!

          • I’m not worried about what you’re doing on November 28th, you’re the one asking everyone what were they doing for La Ku’oko’a in your sarcastic comments.

You keep on harping about people talking negative about the flyer, but what you’re having a hard time comprehending is people are not against the idea of the event planned, it’s the idea that OHA has been two faced by sponsoring positive events such as this for the Hawaiian People, but they have also been going against the people’s wishes and being counter productive by pushing for federal recognition and making Hawaiians an indian tribe under the United States.

So once again so you understand, the people posting negative comments are upset with OHA being two-faced with their own people, not the event planned or the flyer itself.

With that said, this will be my last post on this blog as I refuse to get caught up in your bullshit responses where you give off the impression that you know better than everyone else who has an opinion.

It’s assholes like you that create the separation of our people by thinking you know better.

            Pau

          • 1) same old U.S.
            2) This is getting so old !!! First Kau Inoa, then the Hawaiian Roll then it was followed by Kanaiolowalu and now La Ku OKO ‘A.

4)On the other hand they’re sponsoring events such as the La Ku’oko’a with a flyer that states “The Hawaiian Kingdom Exists”.

I disagree with your analysis as these four examples are clearly negative towards OHA linked to sponsoring this event. OHA in my eyes was never two faced, they always will support anything but Independence, because Independence means their own demise. Never bite the hand that feeds you. If you really thought OHA is for choices including Independence than stop lying to yourselfs.

Not being sarcastic I like know what everybody doing for La Kuokoa.

I try to share facts and tell the truth all the time what did I write is bull shit? Hawaiians are ignorant of the current situation, americanized, brainwashed, indoctrinated, to me Hawaiians who know this information and don’t share it, is like zombies and sleeping because you not spreading the truth of the history of Hawaii.

We cannot control what OHA does, we only can control what we do.

So sorry for offending you but, like my kupuna said if you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen.

  9. Gotta huli already! We need to be protected from all of OHA’s hewa!
OHA’s add above is the epitome of oppression! I know many want the
opportunity to toot their horn and scream sovereignty baby! Forgive
them for they know not what they do while under the lolo spell of OHA!
I know it may not be easy to huli, but it’s not any easier being a patriot!
All the information and evidence is on our side, how come nobody coming
to kukua? We all gotta live! If can, can! If no can, no can! Living for hope
everyday is leading down the slippery slope to hopelessness, damn! Just venting!
What happened to the ICRC? They still around or only available in spirit?
No matter whether can or no can, I will ma’ke a kanaka oiwi, a patriot of
the Hawaiian Kingdom! Screw the U.S. and OHA until my last breath on earth:
    Ku’e i ka hewa! pau

    • Forgot to say OHA seeks U.S. federal recognition as opposed
to international recognition, don’t toot your horn with them, you
may end up being part of an Indian tribe!
That’s pilau that!! Eh, that’s each individual’s choice! pau, pau

  10. I know the Kupuna that’s putting this event on and if they were standing in front of you, you wouldn’t write or say these things. Really how can you be for Federal Recognition and celebrate Hawaiian Independence Day? Why is OHA’s logo on this flyer? What is its purpose? All I know is the organization called the Royal Order of Kamehameha I moku o Kohala acknowledges that the Kingdom of Hawaii exists because it began in 1865. Don’t knock the flyer because of a logo, attend the event and you’ll see.

    • I didn’t see one post where anyone spoke to the Royal Order of Kamehaloha, or their involvement. I think the negativity is directed to OHA and their involvement. Yes, you pose a good question. “What are you doing for La Kuokoa?”
I saw this posted on Facebook “Onipa’a or Imua? How can you move forward when you are standing firm” This to me speaks to a very real problem we Hawaiian patriots face, once you accept our true history.
In accepting our true history, you begin a journey.
There are a lot of emotions that surface as a result of this journey: anger, sadness, frustration and easily ending in confusion and impatience. Some of us are fortunate enough to, find a balance in this unlawful existence. They are fortunate.
So maybe the answer to the question “Onipa’a or Imua”, is to be akamai?
The flyer does use words that OHA has used in their Federal recognition efforts, “nation building”
In my opinion, what might be helpful is to share your mana’o as to how you are able to find that balance and help others achieve that.
I support the event in the flyer and hope people attend.
I plan to provide a free showing of “Ua Mau Ke Ea”, on the Eastside of Kauai. No funding. Although funding might allow me to provide free food which could entice more people to attend.
I never claimed to be the sharpest tool in the shed, just a Hawaiian doing the best I can. As we all are.
      Just my 2 cents.

      • Mahalo we need every Hawaiian doing something not being docile. The kupuna from ROOK 1 that I spoke to today did not realize such negative feedback would be associated with this OHA logo. He will read this strand when he returns. Know that OHA offers monies to community organizations to hold community events to educate Hawaiian communities. Should we not utilize these monies for educating Hawaiians about the correct Hawaiian History and Hawaiian Independence day? Like Hawaii Aloha education series. I like to maximize resources for the right thing no matter where the monies come from. Our Kupuna did it. The right thing is to educate Hawaiians about Hawaiian Independence day. Unfortunately the OHA logo is on the flyer, Kanaiolowalu may even be there I don’t know. If they are, that is great, that is the evidence of the continued sustained oppression & occupation of our lands and the minds of our people. That is why if you attend you can sign on the KUE petition supporting your ancestors from the 1897 Kue petition supporting the executive agreement between Cleveland & Liliuokalani to restore the Kingdom of Hawaii.

        • Your description of the event sound pretty good. It appears that you and your hui have attained that balance, for yourselves. Congratulations.

          Is your ku’e petition online?

As for kanaioluwalu being at the event, I would have a hard time with that one. I would seriously reconsider that one. The evidence of the oppressor and brainwashing is everywhere I look, in every aspect of my everyday life. I don’t think we need to be reminded of it at an event meant to honor our kupuna and remind us what we have been given are being deprived of.

Could this event have been possible without taking the money? That would be the question I would ask.

Those that are opposed to OHA, are aware who OHA is, how they have failed miserably and continue to deprive Hawaiians of a better life . I would say they are quite knowledgeable, the opposite of ignorant.
We get enough false labeling from our occupier.

I hope you have a good turn out and Kanaioluwalu is NOT there. If Kanaioluwalu is there, I hope no one signs their roll.

          • I agree I hope Kanaiolowalu isnt there also but when organizing large numbers of Kanaka u not going get everything that is pono too long the brainwashing existed in Hawaii, OHA fails when the KIngdom of Hawaii returns, its their job to divert attention from true history, how u think the person representing OHA going feel I just hope the person no get hurt up here in Big “I”

  11. First flier about a modern Hawaiian Independence Day celebration on this web blog and so much negativity and misunderstanding. To all you kanaka, one lesson DONT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS AND SPREAD NEGATIVITY!!!!!! if u unsure or would like to know more ask questions have dialogue, join efforts of other Hawaiians trying to do the right thing, no one knows everything.

“Huki like, hana like, pela no ka holomua” Kale Pawai

Pull together work together that is how us Hawaiians move forward, said by Kale Pawai. This was in a time in South Kona when many foreigners were invading and this kupuna seen amongst his people that the day’s of working together without being asked was disappearing so as that part of our culture.

  12. I just viewed FREE HAWAI’I TV on YouTube and there is a current posted video on The Tribal Deal Revealed. The reporter ‘Ehu reported that there is in the works a “backdoor” deal that will be revealed next year that will bypass the input of the Kanaka Maoli, and thus put in place despite the “No to all the questions” given throughout the islands a Nation to internal Nation situation. Can anyone wonder why the OHA logo (not tiny) appears on the flyer for Ka La Kuokoa and people get concerned/alarmed, and not at the Civic Club. OHA and their ilk, other State run agencies, skullduggery makes anyone suspicious.

  13. SOMETHING THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SECRET AGENDA NOW IS FOR ALL TO SEE. OH I SEE royal order of kamehameha in there?
Aloha mai e Luana, please send to the
    AHCC BOD only.
    Soulee
    Aloha mai kakou,
The Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs has been asked
    by OHA Ka Pouhana
    Dr. Kamana

    opono M. Crabbe, to
participate in a Consortium of organizations that show an
unbroken link to our time of undisputed sovereignty.
    As
    Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana

ole is the founder of the
Hawaiian Civic Club movement, we are being asked to
    stand along side other Ali

    i Trusts, and Royal
    Societies
    in
forming a consortium to facilitate the process of nation-
building. The consortium facilitates the process, and
    participating Hawaiians determine the outcome.
    The purpose of the Consortium.
    The consortium is to
further the process for Native Hawaiians to
independently form a Native Hawaiian government.
    To
do this, the consortium needs to contract with third

party experts who will carryout the activities of the
different stages of the nation building process.
The consortium will draft the procurement requirements
and guidelines for selecting the third party experts, and
use those guidelines to accept bids and select the
experts to establish an election, a convention of
    delegates, and ratification.
The consortium will also receive and manage $1.9 million
through a 501c3 fiscal sponsor yet to be determined.
The founding consortium members are comprised of
organizations that have an unbroken link to our time of
    undisputed sovereignty.
    These organizations include:
King Lunalilo Trust & Home, Royal Order of Kamehameha
    I, ‘Ahahui Ka’ahumanu, Hale O Na Ali’i O Hawai’i, and
    Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs.
The OHA Consortium timeline attached below will
summarize my involvement as the President of the AHCC
in the consortium process, which to date has been a
working group, and is now ready to officially form as an
    entity.
My decision to participate in this consortium, is
based on multiple AHCC resolutions which address
nation-building and specifically Resolution 13-35 URGING
THE ASSOCIATION OF HAWAIIAN CIVIC CLUBS TO
ORGANIZE, PLAN AND EXECUTE AND/OR PARTICIPATE IN A
CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION TO REALIZE A NATIVE
    HAWAIIAN SELF-GOVERNING ENTITY.

I am seeking the approval of the AHCC Board of
    Directors, for the following motion:
That the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs agrees
to be a founding member organization of the OHA
Consortium, and grant permission for Soulee L.K.O.
Stroud to sign the Memorandum of Agreement, as the
    AHCC President.
I request a vote of YES or NO from each AHCC Board of
Director, and that all votes be provide by
    September
    29, 2014
    .
If an amendment is necessary, please
provide the language for the amendment.
The MOA attached is in draft form, and comments and
    edits are welcome.
The OHA Consortium Timeline is attached which provides
a summary of my involvement in the Consortium.

    • I found this on Free Hawaii page. These people are secretly planning to go ahead with nation building, with monies from the feds and that not all, there is movement being planned in the united states government executive branch, pushing to make kanaka and Hawaiian Nationals into the first Hawaiian indian tribe. Stand firm and maka ala aloha ke akua malama pono

      • We shouldn’t expect anything less from the Federal Government, they can plan all they like. Its the Hawaiians who conspire with them are the ones we need to put in check.

  14. First of all I would like to pay respect to my kupuna before me, the my Kaneakua ohana, and the Wise Ohana that have taught me so much. I humbly would like thank all of my cousins Mahalos. How come you are not adding to your so called list the Hawaiian Kingdom? after all, they have been the only ones that have done the research, got educated on International Law, the true Hawaiian history that no one has even looked into, and they are the ones that are educating our moopunas in Elementary school, The Hawaiian Kingdom is teaching our children in colleges across hawaii, and then the graduates with degrees and doctorates have been outside there teaching taken and even spreading the word the mainland. Then come you no give respect to those that have been going to the UN to expose the fact that we have been illegally occupied for 121 years. I think that the organizations you have mentioned have also been learning about our true Hawaiian history though the Hawaiian Kingdom. They are the ones doing the work to spread the word of our Hawaiian Kingdom. Our Kindgom is the only true kindgom and has issued a decree to the public, They are issuing war crimes to those that have broken the Laws of the Hawaiian Kingdom. It is true that we have reached a point in this process that we ALL need to stand together and be pono, remember the old ways that our Kupuna has been trying to teach us. We need to understand we are not puppets of the USA. WE are a kingdom that has always been there. Santa Claus should read the penal codes for the Hawaiian Kingdom. I do not wish to put Santa Claus down, i would turn away from the likes of Santa Clause and keep my mind on trying to help the Hawaiian kingdom stand tall again. OHA has not helped us in any way to become the Hawaiian Kingdom, instead they would like to see Hawaiians as a tribe……when no can, no can as my tutu used to say. mahalo for letting me voice my comments. True aloha to all of us Kanaka Maoli.

    • What u doing for La Kuokoa?

I not here to make friends, but rather to see who is up to the challenge to spread the education of La Kuokoa? Many of you put down the flier without asking the question why is the OHA logo on the flier? And most of you responded negatively to the course the organizers took to put on this event. U guys put them down. Therefore u felt the wrath of Hawaiian Santa. Only one asked this question. Only two of you answered as to what you will be doing on La Kuokoa? None of you organizing an educational event close to the scale of this flier. What gives all you guys the right to put down the flier. For that I’m disappointed in all of you, especially if you consider yourself Aloha Aina! If you can’t look past the colorful verbiage that makes you feel uncomfortable that is its intention. Now use that energy to educate others rather than putting down the only attempt on this web blog to advertise a La Kuokoa education on Hawaii island. Remember this is the Acting Hawaiian Kingdom Government, not the Hawaiian Kingdom Government. What am I supposed to find in the Penal Code? I read it 3 times.

We not going stand together if at face value you guys going put down one flier for trying to educate more people about Hawaiian Independence Day!

U guys put down the flier but what u guys doing on La Kuokoa NOTHING!!!

Mai makau i ka hana makau i ka moloa. Dont be afraid of work be afraid of laziness.

  15. I am impressed by all the comments posted, and there are many! A wonderful thing for the people of Hawai’i to have a discussion on the issues; and that it’s harder to pull the wool over the eyes of us anymore. I initially commented not to put any one down, namely the Civic Club for the Tour – Hoorah! Ka La Kuokoa! – but it was just my utter confusion on seeing the rather big seal of OHA and the words “project” and “sponsored” these alarmed me. Forgive me but it was like poison to a lovely Flowering Tree of Celebration, and if another image can help, a big assed ugly poisoned spider in a bunch of lovely bananas! That’s all it was, a gut reaction based upon the fine work Ku’e by the Kupuna before me; and the present work done by those who work tirelessly to educate those who love the Kingdom of Hawai’i. I wanted to be worthy of the Day.

    • Thats the spirit make the party, make the convoy, share the education, NO TREATY is pololei! E NA ALOHA AINA O KAKUHIHEWA HE AHA KA OUKOU NO KA LA KUOKOA!

What you doing on our national holiday?
Perhaps a stuff uhu and a big bowl of poi?

I once read, after declaring its Independace at Thomas Square the people headed up to Kamehameha llls summer palace on the old pali road. A total of 10,000 people attented, talk ahout a party.

Would love to see a circle a round each island and a round our nation each day every day. A circle of aloha aina.

        Long live the Hawaiian Kingdom

    • Maurice,

Mahalo for the links and your mana’o, appreciate it!
Not knocking the information, but what court in Hawaii
      would you assert this claim?
Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see you and your Ohana
get your just deserts! I would love to see any Kanaka get
something or get ahead, perhaps setting a way for others to
      follow!

The courts here in Hawaii are corrupt, of course based upon
corruption stemming from events way back in 1893!

One thing that might make this worth revisiting is that there
was information about one, possibly two judges on the island
of Hawai’i that were summoned by the international criminal
court and the document created by Professor Chang stating
in short his responsibility to report a crime under U.S. Federal
law sent to former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. who
according to recent news report is still being referred to as the
U.S. Attorney General. Force individual judges to make the only
choice or face the penalty of a war crime.

While waiting to get rid of the corrupt occupier this may be
something to rethink! At the least more judges will be included
in the war crimes roll list.

      Mahalo

      • I have a concern about the ICC. They supposedly have claimed jurisdiction but appear to be silent. The complaints have been closed with little to no information. I’m concerned that the ICC does not have the influence as written on paper.

  23. I have read the many comments, both positive and negative, about Oha and the fact that they are one of the sponsors of the La Ku’oko’a event in Waimea on the 28th of November. I am the co-chairman of that event and yes, we received monetary assistance from Oha for the event. We are also spending our own money on the event and the Kailapa Community Association is also bringing something to the table. Our focus is on educating the community at large (Hawaiian and non-Hawaiians) about important events in our Hawaiian history. Tell the truth, dispell the untruths and above all be PONO. I will accept donations from anyone who wants to help put on an event to tell the truth. I will not accept donations from anyone who wants to dictate the agenda or content of the event. Thus, after all is said and done, it is our (Moku O Kohala) event and our content and agenda. There will be no sign ups for anything, nothing but education. Come see for yourself. No need for any negativity, we have enough division within our Hawaiian community. Imua e na poki’i !!!
    me ka ha’aha’a
    Ski Kwiatkowski, La’kuoko’a Waimea co-chairman

    • Aloha Ski,

Mahalo for your words! E kalama’i au on lashing out at OHA who
provided funding for your folks project. Certain individuals in OHA
has damaged the confidence to an extreme extent that just looking
at the word OHA generates anger, forgetting that others with good
intentions get caught up in the cross fire!
This all comes down to trust, I don’t know you, but I have to believe
that you love our Hawaiian Kingdom as much as I do. If the table
was turned I would hope that you would afford me the same trust!

May you, Hawaiian Santa and all participants have a blessed
      La’kuoko’a event!

      Again, Mahalo for your words!

      • ‘Ano’ai e Win808
No offense taken, for we, as Hawaiians usually speak from the heart. Many times we express the pain and frustration of the “system” we are sometimes forced to work within, but, after all is said and done, “work within” is the operative word. We holomua, we move forward, we use another very powerful tool that we were born with, called “Aloha”. All Hawaiians should love and respect each other’s points of view, and it can all be done with aloha.
        mahalo
        Ski

    • use OHA money anyway u can! its our money to begin with and if we can get some to forward the end of the occupation so be it!

      • Aloha Kakou my email had a post notification of a comment that monies from OHA should be taken to further the revival or restoration of the Hawaiian Kingdom Government. Now, in my mana’o, if the monies are a one-way affair. You know the old British adage “He who takes the King’s pound takes the King’s advice” if this is not true in this case and OHA just shells out the cash and HK Patriots use the monies for the Restoration, or whatever else is Pono, then perhaps it is a great idea. Let OHA contribute to the pono and steer away from the hewa??? I’m naturally suspicious but in this case maybe??? Ideas?? Comments?? Mahalo kakou.

  24. Im pretty sure Keanu doesn’t control what goes on this site. But the comment about the lands is so true my family alone had 1000s of acres stolen. How? Its like this the occupiers/USA/provisional government/republic of Hawaii/state of hawaii have made land laws that takes your land away if someone lives/squats on it for more than twenty yrs and claims it as adverse possession. In 1897 to around the 1950s the law was if you on the land for 5yrs you can put a claim to it now its 20yrs. The Hawaiian Kingdom constitution and laws does not have this law in it, and this is one BIG reason we need to support the Hawaiian Kingdom and its lawful constitution of 1864. All that Dr, Sai is doing is pono in my eyes, to go back where we left off in 1893. But there was a lot of corruption introduced by foreigners who became subjects of the HK and were trusted as to be appointed into the executive branch and the judicial branch. Only to shaft the Hawaiian people, its all on record, look in the archives, what is left of it. So much to say I should write one book, mahalo ke akua

  25. Aloha everyone and thank you for your responses.

    1. I sued the state of Hawaii, DLNR, and the staff at the Alawai State Boat Harbor in 2012 and 2013, for not complying to Hawaiian Kingdom Law and the International Laws of Occupation. They threw the case out so fast, with fear in their faces and eyes, that day I will never forget!

I won a half a million dollar illegal law suit for the Hawaiian nationals who reside within the Alawai State boat harbor. Now, we are putting together 32 more memorandums and challenges for the State of Hawaii to look into.

If you would like an email copy of this court case I would be glad to share it with you to use if you ever get into a confrontation with the State of Hawaii, who is still holding an Illegal and prolonged occupation over the Kingdom of Hawaii and it’s people.

    2. Yes, Alloidial titles and Royal Patents have been around since the beginning of time, but do you really understand their force and effect it has in today’s courts!

We all just started using this different methods of suing the State of Hawaii recently.

Has your friend?, who knows about Alloidial titles done the same thing recently?
If so, what are they doing about it?

It is very new to us law people and culture in Hawaii because it is only held at the International Level of Law which we too have been suppressed until now.

But there is one thing you cannot ignore, it is common law, the law of the world! The Law of Nations!

    3. It’s not what your country can do for you! but what you can do for your country.

this will be my last message to everyone concerning this matter. Sorry for losing it!
I’m just a local boy from the islands.

    AND PROUD TO BE HAWAIIAN!!!!
