As Hawaiian Independence Day (Lā Kuʻokoʻa) is approaching on Friday November 28th, KITV Island Life Live invited Dr. Keanu Sai to give some historical background and the significance of the Hawaiian Kingdom becoming an independent State on November 28, 1843. I think locals would be less shocked if they learned that covertly the acting Council of Regency along with the military governor (Logan? Rosner?) have started taking the reigns & that ONLY great progress has been made to IMPROVE our infrastructure (rail, stadium, Enterprise fiscal system w/ fiber optics), safety & tons of other mega projects in the works, including the Capitol with the interactive art installation & City Hall too. BEST part is that the Hawaiian Kingdom FLAG never stopped flying!
Just remind folks that THEY ARE NEEDED for success– loyal dedicated people to run for offices and help complete our transition!
