On January 17, 1893, Foreign Legations<\/a> accredited to the Court of the Hawaiian Kingdom in the city of Honolulu included the United States of America, Portugal, Great Britain, France and Japan. A Legation is\u00a0a diplomatic mission in a foreign country headed by an\u00a0Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary<\/a>. After the Second World War legations were considered embassies.\u00a0Foreign Consulates<\/a> in the Hawaiian Kingdom included the United States of America, Italy, Chile, Germany, Sweden-Norway, Denmark, Peru, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Austria-Hungary, Russia, Great Britain, Mexico and China.<\/p>\n

  3. France<\/strong> in the city of Paris,<\/li>\n
  4. Russia<\/strong> in the city of Saint Petersburg;<\/li>\n
  5. Peru<\/strong> in the city of Lima; and<\/li>\n
  6. Chile<\/strong> in the city of Valparaiso.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
