I want to first of all commend Dr.Keanu Sai for his illustrious manao concerning the the way Esther Kia’aina continuously demean our Kanaka Maoli at the DOI meetings last month in July. She definitely separates herself as a kanaka from the rest of the kanaka people of Hawaii and should not be in her position she holds now. She should be honest and unbias in the work she does but she definitely shows favor to Kanaiolowalu and the federal U.S. government. I sat in on the DOI Maui meeting in Kahului and and saw Esther show defiance in her facial expressions when our people testified against DOI unanimously. There is no place for her in these matters if she is ignorant of the laws which she should know by now.
Mahalo Keanu for your awareness on all the mistakes people like Esther Kia’aina make when they wala’au in public to keep our people down. I know why, just to pretend that they are smarter? ( I NO THINK SO )
I enjoy you strategic approach and how you set things straight in a brilliant manner like a kanaka maoli does. I am proud to be Kanaka of Hawaii.
