Hawaiian Kingdom Blog

There have been recent inquiries as to the author of the posts on this blog. The answer is that it is the acting government of the Hawaiian Kingdom that authorizes the postings. This blog was established to inform the general public of the actions taken by the acting government and to provide information of a historical, legal or political nature regarding the country. It is not your typical blog that has a moderator to direct and manage the online dialogue. This blog is for informational purposes only and we appreciate the broad base of readership.

The primary objective of the acting government is to expose the occupation of our country within the framework of the 1907 Hague Conventions IV and V and our domestic statutes, and to provide a foundation for transition and the ultimate end of the occupation of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Article 43 of the 1907 Hague Convention IV mandates that the occupying government, being the United States of America, must administer the laws of the occupied State, being the Hawaiian Kingdom, and any deviation of this mandate is a violation of international law.

To understand the legal basis in the formation of the acting government in 1997 under the doctrine of necessity you can download the “The Continuity of the Hawaiian State and the Legitimacy of the acting Government of the Hawaiian Kingdom.” You can also download the acting government’s “Strategic Plan of the acting Council of Regency.” Education is primary and is a fundamental component of the acting government’s strategic plan.

  1. The author of this Blog provides great information about the Hawaiian Kingdom history, present day, and future. Prior to Kamanaopono Crabbes letter to John Kerry I knew nothing or very little information about International relations that the Hawaiian Kingdom had with other countries, the illegal prolonged occupation of the United States of America, the illegal State of Hawaii Government, and alot of illegalities that came after the overthrow of Queen Liliuokalani. Now that I have gained knowledge I am confident that the members of the acting government are doing a great job because they use facts from Laws and History whether International Law, Hawaiian Kingdom Law, US constitutions etc… The Illegal prolonged occupation of the United States of a 121 years which also includes 55 years of the illegal State of Hawaii Government has been going on for too long, and as the members of the acting government of the Hawaiian Kingdom continue the exposure of the illegal occupation of the United States of America I will continue to expose the knowledge I have gained from this web blog to others who are interested.

Keep up the great work everyone!

    Aloha

      • And yet most people didnt know that they had power until the Acting Goverment, take notice of the word acting, showed up and told them they had mana and gave us the facts. They are the only people, from what I’ve seen, that have stood up for our people in such a big way and in such high places. They are the ones that have let our lahui ask for the answers to our questions. Without them, perhaps our people would be rotting away inside and out just like how America wanted. Auwe no.

      • What power are you talking about? The acting government of the Hawaiian Kingdom is just doing its due diligence. It has not the power to govern over the kanaka people, but has the power to create the necessary steps to reviving the Hawaiian Kingdom. You should do your research on what is going on, they are here according to international law to bring back the Hawaiian Kingdom according to the 1864 constitution and following international laws. They will not at all start to govern the kanaka people but are here to educate the kanaka people and who ever else has eyes to see and ears to listen to the truth. So then I will not explain how or when this will happen but it is up to you if you want to know, then go on and read and educate yourselves in this. All information you need to know be it laws of the Hawaiian kingdom or international laws, what ever it may be, go and find it or ask questions and you will understand the lawfulness of it all. maka ala mahalo ke akua

        • Mana is knowing who you are and holding yourself as well as other people accountable. If you don’t know the Mana you have as an individual you will continually except the crumbs that is given. The Mana this blog gives is for the people, by the people. Maka’ala and be informed. FREE YOUR MIND and the rest will follow. “Ka Leo O Ke Kanaka is the Leo of Akua”

          Mahalo Nu Nui!

  2. Mahalo Nui…that’s why we must leave it to the experts and continue to be Haumāna. Be humble, listen, learn, observe and try our best to focus on the overall goal de-occupation;)

    • thank you , kaehuokalani, your words speak clear…..humble, listen, learn, observe….also re-educate ourselves, family, friends, spread the word

  3. “leave it to the experts”: this is what Honolulu residents were saying as your Queen was put under house arrest; it assumes that you are not the expert; it exposes fear that you cannot trust your own intellect.

    • Its understandable if some of us can’t trust our own intellect, we were brought up with an AMERICAN education. (Which is currently ranked like what #15? #20? in the world right now?) Auwe.

      • When will Kingdom of Hawaii be discussed as a sovereign nation from CNN and CNN International or even BBC? Oprah offers televised classes broadcast from her network – OWN. Ask her to invite Kingdom of Hawai’i, a one year contract of time, broadcasting to mainland your vision of Hawai’i as a sovereign nation.

        • Its not a vision its a reality until proven otherwise (which the U.S. is more than welcome to try, we’re actually all waiting for that reply). CNN BBC, what other biased station, Fox News? U.S. mainstream media doesn’t talk about this subject. Sooner or later though they’ll have to.

  4. Mahalo for answering my concerns regarding this blog. You have made it much clearer regarding it’s purpose and as you say “It is not your typical blog that has a moderator to direct and manage the online dialogue. This blog is for informational purposes only and we appreciate the broad base of readership.”

Therefore, from now on I would prefer to communicate directly to you,” the acting government of the Hawaiian Kingdom” regarding any of your postings.

  5. Mahalo acting gov’t for specifying the purpose of this blog. As I read the article it is quite clear that direct communications regarding this blog was not mentioned as one of it’s purpose.

  6. Aloha

    • A nice rallying cry! Dr. Keanu Sai and the Regency Council provides the Hawaiian Kingdom with the forward thinking and leadership which has been long overdue. We are bewildered no more. We shall do better in our quest for Restoration. The Critical Thinking we now have gives us the courage to make your rallying cry “Long live the Hawaiian Kingdom” a reality. Me ka Pono

An acting government can be formed using whats called Doctrine of Necessity (which is explained above and through out this website) . The people power comes when its time to elect government officials once the Hawaiian Kingdom is restored.

Getting educated on the Hawaiian Kingdom whether its history, issues, solutions, only benefits everyone who is interested because when I had questions, statements, etc I found all the answers( except for 2 questions that are most important to me right now) by reading what the acting government provided and also confirming it with other reading material outside of this website.

    The 2 unanswered questions are

    1) Can the U.S prove with facts that the Hawaiian Kingdom does not continue to exist under International Law?

    2) What specific date will U.S de-occupy Hawaii If the Hawaiian Kingdom continues to exists under International Law?

        • Aloha capt
          Just got thru watching it… it’s a mind blower… a game changer… everyone needs to veiw this… it’s a good one
          mahalo 4 sharing

          • omg! That’s like searching for BigFoot and finding him! Way cool! Can’t wait to purchase that book! The ease that Uncle tells his story is supremely heartwarming. To think that he walked around with that doc for 50 years and then found the cypher. I can actually see that happening. Mahalo for sharing. Mahalo for bringing the history to light!

        • Luke 12:2-3 KJV

2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

What a shameful and despicable act committed by
members the U.S. government. The sad thing about
it is that no one from the U.S. have sought to bring
          this issue to light!

Mahalo uncle Buzzy for your awesome research!

Mahalo Capt, for sharing the video link!

        • This is a truly amazing discovery by Uncle Buzzy. This video needs to be shared on every social and educational media site available, and we the La’hui need to no longer use the term “U.S. Backed” overthrowe. Pono I pono a me hewa I hewa, and so let’s call it what it was, the pre planned U.S. overthrowe of the Hawaiian Kingdom. I call upon every Aloha Aina to help spread this information in what ever way you can. This is now our kuleana to share the TRUTH.
Aloha Aina La’hui Hawaii Oni Pa’a

  10. I’d like to see a blog that discusses what would realistically happen in the future to the civilian population in the islands, specifically the alien population who has been in occupied Hawaii since the early 1900’s. “Victims of circumstance” would also apply to the many people who are 4th and 5th generation Japanese, Chinese, etc who descend from immigrants that arrived shortly after the occupation began. Although these people would still legally be Japanese, Chinese, etc, in nationality….I would imagine that most (if not all) of them would have no emotional, mental, or physical identity/attachments to their inherited nationality from 5 generations ago. Dr. Sai said there is also the psychological side of the situation and I would imagine that the [alien] people we currently call “local” surely have an existing identity with Hawaii and not with the country their ancestors came from 5 generations ago. There exists a “local pride” and “local spirit” that comes from most of who we call “local”, whether they are legally Hawaiian subjects or life-long aliens. I truly believe that that local pride and spirit will be easily transformed into patriotism by these “locals”. So I would love to see a post addressing what sort of treatment or special rights in similar situations, if any, that our alien friends and family, a.k.a. “other victims of circumstance” may or may not receive once the occupation ends. Aloha!

    • In the event of de-occupation I think it would be likely that all alien residents would be given the option of U.S. citizenship and/or resettlement in the 49 states.

But I think you’re right about non-resident locals. It seems likely to me that many locals would favor citizenship under the Kingdom if the option was given, and I would be surprised if the Kingdom’s governing leadership does not pass a kind of “local amnesty” in that circumstance. I often think of “local culture” as a vestige of the former national Hawaiian identity in many ways. It seems to be a peculiar cultural phenomenon unique to Hawai`i.

  11. Jackie, thanks to the acting HK gov’t the continuity of the Hawaiian Kingdom has been and continues to be discussed at the appropriate international venues. These are the important venues that will initiate real change towards our deoccupation which is already in motion. The media is not the authority in these matters and will not make the legal determinations that will affect our status or rights. It is best to complete and solidify our legal position for deoccupation first. Then we can have more control over the narative and use the media to our advantage. The media is controled by private interest and we would be foolish to hope they would provide a fair and accurate view on anything if we don’t have our position secured first.

  12. Aloha Kauila, those are some very good questions. I would hope the U.S. would create that blog since they are the ones who created this situation for these aliens. Maybe the U.S. will make a provision for them to retain their U.S. citizenship and they would not have to revert back to their original nationality.

  13. The Reinstated Hawaiian Kingdom and Regency Council in their reports bear out the fact that the U.S. failed to apply H/K law, e.g. allowing unchecked migration into our homeland after the Overthrow of 1893. This problem I am sure will be resolved eventually by proper registration with with the H/K Government. It will require cooperation by everyone in order to resolve a very serious problem. If one wants to return to his land of origin instead of resolving his status here in Hawaii that is an alternative, or move on to the american continent and acquire U.S. citizenship there. We Kanakas and nationals have always been inclusive and open to anyone wanting to visit and enjoy our Aina and Aloha.

The time is now as H/K Restoration measures are being implemented. The 120+yrs of inoculation of american acculturation has run its course. We do not need the DOI proposal to provide another alternative of annihilation. The time of disinformation and deceit is over. Hawaiian Kingdom Restoration is the only just and lawful solution.

  14. Aloha Frank, Obviously no one knew that Hawaii’s legal status was of an illegal occupation but why would those who were born here and those that came here and acquired U.S. citizenship have to go the U.S. continent to get U.S. citizenship? The status of their U.S. nationality has nothing to do with the HK. If the U.S. wishes to address this issue of U.S. citizenship for those who were caught up in this illegal occupation it could very easily pass a law in America to allow them to keep their U.S. citizenship. This probably would only be applicable to resolve past and present issues of citizenship. They had used something similar to grant amnesty and citizenship to all the illegal aliens in the U.S. in the past.

    • Or they could become Hawaiian nationals. It seems as if you guys are only giving these people two options: leave and be a u.s. citizen or stay and be a u.s. citizen.

      • Mahalo Kekoa and Kolonahe for sharing your Aloha and compassion for people who have come to our Hawaiian Kingdom community. Since the illegal Occupation by the U.S., H/K laws have been held in suspension. The U.S. laws have taken precedents, allowing for unchecked migration and unregistered aliens to occur. Many of these ethnicities from other lands have taken residence amongst us and even married into our families. I don’t have a problem with that, except that when the threshold of allegiance to the H/K is not required, it is then misconstrued that they are here by U.S. invitation and therefore an opportunity to be Americans. Nothing could be further from the truth!

  15. Aloha Kolonahe, the option to become a hawaiian national maybe possible only after the occupation ends. Even then it get’s a little tricky. Citizenship is based on the law and their alligance to the HK. The transfer of the occupiers citizens into the occupied HK is an illegal act so how do you grant citizenship to someone who is here illegaly? It is also dependant on what the naturalization laws will be after the occupation ends. The new gov’t could decide to keep the current law or change it. That’s why people should be careful of what they do and say for it can be used against them when they need to show alligance. Obviously those supporting the illegal occupation stands no chance of obtaining HK citizenship.

  16. Aloha Kamanalo, “The aliens who were born here should be allowed to remain here as citizens but all others arriving or born after a certain date should not.” If you are suggesting aliens be grandfathered into having Hawaiian Kingdom citizenship then that is not legally possible. It could be possible they remain here as resident aliens because the law says they can’t be deported based on race or nationality. The law says deportation must stem from an illegal act.
